The Adventures of Captain Migol is a completed animated mini-series following three green, one-eyed friends as they travel through a colourful and unpredictable universe. Captain Migol, Popodom and Drod approach every new situation with confidence, curiosity and very different ideas about how a problem should be solved.
Their journeys rarely go according to plan. Ordinary tasks quickly develop into comic disasters, strange encounters and unexpected adventures that demand imagination, cooperation and a generous amount of luck. Although the three friends do not always agree, their contrasting personalities make them a strong team — especially when their own mistakes create the next challenge they must overcome.
Combining fast-paced visual comedy with playful science-fiction settings, the series explores friendship, resourcefulness and creative problem-solving. Its humour grows from the characters’ reactions, misunderstandings and inventive attempts to regain control of situations that become increasingly absurd.
At its heart, The Adventures of Captain Migol is about the joy of exploring the unknown with friends — and about discovering that even the most chaotic problem can become an unforgettable adventure.
The series is a Bulgarian–Swedish co-production between Zographic Films and Atem Entertainment. It has been completed and is currently being distributed internationally by Atem Entertainment.
