The Biscuiteers is a 3D animated series for children aged 5–8, set in the cheerful town of Kidville, where children live independently and every ordinary task can become an adventure. When young Ellie moves into a house with a small bakery and begins baking biscuits, their irresistible scent awakens three tiny magical house spirits who have been sleeping there for years.
Pepper, Basil and Rosemary are bound by an ancient duty to care for the inhabitants of their home. Each possesses a distinctive magical power: Basil creates electricity, Rosemary controls plants through her enchanted seeds, and Pepper uses his mysterious pepper dust to transform objects and creatures. Their magic is meant to help Ellie, but enthusiasm, curiosity and conflicting ideas often turn simple chores into hilarious confusion.
Together, Ellie and the Biscuiteers face runaway ingredients, disappearing powers, mischievous neighbours and unexpected bakery disasters. Combining comedy, magic and warm character-driven storytelling, the series explores friendship, responsibility and teamwork, showing that mistakes can always be repaired when friends listen to one another and combine their strengths.
The project was selected for Animation Production Days in Stuttgart. A pilot episode has been completed as a Bulgarian–Spanish co-production between Zographic Films and 3 Doubles Producciones, with support from the Bulgarian National Film Center. The world of The Biscuiteers has also been expanded through an illustrated children’s book, while the animated series is being developed for television.
