Mitten Pals is a warm and playful animated series for children aged 3–5, inspired by the classic Bulgarian fairytale Grandfather’s Glove by Elin Pelin.
Bobo the bear's friends—Gogo the hedgehog, Sisi the squirrel, Mimi the mouse, and Rudy the fox—disregard
his winter warnings and try to fight it, thinking it's an animal. When the cold hits, they team up to find a house, failing until a passing sleigh drops a mitten that becomes their home. Living together feels like a real family, yet they stay kidlike: curious, hungry, and playful. Each episode starts with a simple shared goal—cool down, collect supplies, or invent a game—but a small obstacle causes silly mix-ups: prickly bushes, slippery mud, gusty wind, or sheer overexcitement. They solve it with teamwork or a smart trick they discover that becomes the final joke.
Set in a tactile world resembling a handcrafted knitted diorama, Mitten Pals relies on visual storytelling, gentle comedy and minimal dialogue. Each episode combines a clear group goal, playful physical action and an affectionate emotional resolution, creating a safe and inviting world in which friendship, empathy and teamwork are at the heart of every adventure.
